The 14th century Axente Sever (Frauendorf) fortified church faces Copsa Mica’s communist era industrial plant. Mrs. Henriette Lemnitz, a German restoration specialist, found traces of substances from the earlier and current activity of the plant. She claims these emissions might have a negative impact on the church's wall components.
